Marine electronic equipment is exposed to salt spray, high humidity, wide temperature (-25℃~70℃) and continuous vibration for a long period of time, and traditional hardware is vulnerable to corrosion and performance degradation.BASCO industrial motherboards are certified by IEC 60945 (Environmental Standard for Marine Electronic Equipment), and are designed with a fully-sealed salt spray resistant coating and 100% solid state capacitors, supporting a wide voltage input of 9-36V and anti-surge protection to ensure stable operation of key systems such as main engine control and radar navigation during bumpy sea voyages. Modern ships rely on satellite communications, 5G maritime broadband and edge computing for real-time ship-to-shore data interaction. the BASCO modular system supports flexible expansion of multi-mode communication modules (e.g., VSAT, LTE-M), AI inference acceleration cards and redundant storage units, and quickly deploys smart energy efficiency analysis or predictive maintenance functions via M.2/PCIe slots. Its modular design is compatible with DNV-GL/ABS class certification and supports customized carrier board integration of special protocols (e.g., J1939 engine control) to shorten the transformation cycle of intelligent ships.

Anti-vibration and total protection against electromagnetic interference
For the high-frequency vibration and complex electromagnetic environment of ship power system, BASCO adopts layered metal shielding and locking connector design to ensure zero signal loss of the module under continuous vibration. Integrated with NMEA 0183/2000 protocol analysis, it can display electronic charts, engine parameters and energy efficiency dashboards in real time, and support voice alarms and crew safety status monitoring.
