Meanwhile, the rich industrial I/O interfaces (CAN bus, RS-485, PoE+, etc.) on board are seamlessly compatible with train signaling equipment, sensors and communication modules, providing the hardware cornerstone for rail transportation intelligence.

Flexible scaling with long lifecycle support
The upgrade of rail transit system needs to take into account the compatibility of existing equipment and the iteration of new technologies. BASCO's modular design supports customers to rapidly expand 5G communication, edge computing nodes or AI inference modules according to their needs, for example, installing multi-mode cellular network cards through M.2 slots to realize high-speed data transmission back from the train to the ground control center. Its modular system provides 10-15 years of product supply guarantee to avoid the risk of system modification due to hardware discontinuation.

Vibration resistance and electromagnetic compatibility enhancement
In response to the constant vibration and electromagnetic interference of train operations, BASCO utilizes reinforced connectors and layered shielding technology to ensure that expansion modules have zero contact failure in vibration environments, as well as conformal coatings to enhance the board's resistance to corrosion and EMC. Customers can also customize the carrier board design to integrate specialized functions (e.g. ATO autopilot interface), which shortens the development cycle and reduces customization costs.

Highly reliable on-board control platform
BASCO rail transit-specific machine has passed EN 50155/IEC 61373 seismic certification, adopts fanless and fully sealed structure, supports -40℃~70℃ wide temperature operation, and adapts to the bottom of the locomotive and other harsh installation locations. Configured with multiple Gigabit PoE+ ports, it can simultaneously access on-board cameras, sensors, and emergency broadcasting equipment to monitor train status in real time and support AI-driven fault warning. Built-in TPM 2.0 security chip ensures end-to-end encryption of train control data and passenger privacy.

Human-computer Interaction Terminal for Full Scene
BASCO industrial-grade touch panel is specially designed for driver's cabins and carriages, equipped with IP65 protection panel and sunlight-visible high-brightness screen, supporting glove touch and -30℃ low-temperature startup. The integrated multi-protocol communication interface (MVB, Ethernet, etc.) seamlessly connects to the TCMS system, displaying real-time operating parameters, route maps and emergency alarms. Its mechanical hard disk-free design (all-solid-state storage) and redundant power supply scheme ensure zero downtime throughout the train operation, providing an all-weather interactive hub for intelligent rail transportation.
